DAY 1 : Cochin (Arrival)

Arrival in Cochin and Cochin Sightseeing
Upon your arrival in Cochin (Kochi), check in at your chosen hotel. Your afternoon is dedicated to exploring the historical gems of Fort Kochi, including St. Francis Church, the Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace- Closed on Fridays) with its vibrant murals, and the enchanting Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Jewish Holidays). As evening falls, visit Ernakulam, the business capital of Kerala for some shopping. Overnight at Cochin.

 

DAY 2 : Munnar
Morning after breakfast proceed to Munnar. During this scenic journey, youll be captivated by the lush landscapes and will have the opportunity to visit the mesmerizing Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls, adding an extra layer of beauty to your trip. Upon reaching Munnar, youll check in to your chosen hotel or resort, where you can unwind amidst the tranquil surroundings. The evening is yours to spend at your leisure, whether its exploring the vibrant local markets or simply relaxing at your cozy accommodation.

 

DAY 3 : Munnar
Munnar Exploration
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, youll set out to explore the charming attractions of Munnar. Your days itinerary includes a visit to the Mattupetty Dam and Lake, where you can enjoy boating and the stunning landscape. Echo Point offers a unique experience with its echo phenomenon. The day continues with a tour of lush tea gardens, providing insights into tea processing. After lunch youll head to Eravikulam National Park. 

DAY 4 : Thekkady
Morning after breakfast embark on a scenic drive to Thekkady. The journey treats you to spectacular views of Keralas landscapes and typically spans around 4-5 hours. Upon reaching Thekkady, check in at your selected hotel or resort, and afternoon, I set off to explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, renowned for its boat safaris on Periyar Lake. Here, you can spot elephants, bison, and various bird species in their natural habitat, Explore Elephant Safari & Kathakli Show and Kalari Show and Overnight at Thekkady..

 

DAY 5 : Alleppey / Kumarakom
Morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakam/ Alleppey. By noon check in at the hotel . Afternoon do a couple of hours motor boat cruise (optional- cost not included) through the the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kumarakam/ Alleppey..

 

DAY 6 : Kovalam
After breakfast at your resort/ hotel, its time to check out and proceed to Kovalam, a coastal paradise famous for its pristine beaches. Upon arrival, check in to your Kovalam hotel or resort and soak in the vibrant beach culture. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax on the sandy shores, explore the local markets, or dine by the sea.

 

DAY 7 : Kovalam
After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Trivandrum, a short drive away from Kovalam. Here, youll visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, an architectural marvel dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Art Gallery(Monday holiday), which houses a captivating collection of historical artifacts and artworks. afternoon visit Napier Museum (Monday holiday) before returning to Kovalam, where you can relax and enjoy the beach before another delightful dinner.

 

DAY 8 : Trivandrum Airport (Tour Ends)
Morning after breakfast proceeds to Trivandrum airport for onward journey.

Tour Inclusions:

• A/c vehicle at disposal for the entire trip. Make of vehicle is mentioned above.

• Service of an experienced driver. [from 8 AM to 8 PM]

• 20 hour house boating through the legendary backwaters of Kerala with all meals. (only if houseboat is part of the itinerary. Deluxe houseboat will have a/c operational inside the bedrooms during night only, Premium houseboat will have a/c inside the bedrooms all throughout the cruise )

• In hill stations non A/c Rooms will be provided in all seasons.
